Chad Frisbie is a poet who received his B.A. from Bates College, where he studied English and creative writing. On an Otis Fellowship, he circumnavigated Iceland by bike and wrote poems about regional environmental controversies. Chad attended the Bread Loaf Writers’ Conference in 2011. He also co-founded LITTER, a monthly queer reading series in Manhattan. His work has appeared in The New Guard Review, Jellyfish Magazine, FENCE and Chroma Journal. He works as a poetry Teaching-Artist at Community Word Project, and he has also worked as a media literacy and creative writing Teaching Artist at the Harlem Children’s Zone.
