Jeffrey Cyphers Wright is a publisher, critic, eco-activist and artist, but is best known as a poet. He received his MFA in Poetry after studying with Allen Ginsberg at Brooklyn College and taught there for several years. He served on the Poetry Project’s Board of Directors and also taught there. From 1987 to 2000 he ran Cover Magazine, the Underground National. Spuyten Duyvil recently published Triple Crown, Sonnets. Radio Poems is forthcoming from The Operating System.
