How do you take your coffee?
dark and sweet. or sometimes just with cream. or sometimes a monstrosity from starbucks with a bunch of crap in it.
Tell us a little about the experience of making the work you have featured in REALITY BEACH.
numbers – I love them. not adding them or balancing my checkbook or anything – just the solidness and trustworthiness of them. the shape of them. I think they can be the opposite of poems sometimes – so I wanted to incorporate them in some way. I wrote the piece you used all at once, on a legal pad.
Tell us about the poems you’ve been writing.
aggg no time. I write quick stuff sometimes – but I haven’t written a proper poem in a while.
What’s the last thing you burned?
a candle. smelling like gingerbread. last night.
Where is your beach?
home. living room. big green chair. with davidleeroth (dog) snuggled.
